Red Wine Braised Short Ribs
Ingredients
- 4 lbs. Short Ribs
- 4 Carrots, Diced
- 4 Celery Stalks, Diced
- 1 Large White Onion, diced
- 1 Head of Garlic, Cut in Half
- 1/2 Bunch Thyme
- 1/2 Bunch Rosemary
- 1/2 Bunch Parsley
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 4 Tbsp. Flour
- 2 Tbsp. Contadina tomato paste
- 4 cups Beef Stock
- 1 tsp. Salt and Pepper
- 1 bottle of Stella Rosa® Blueberry
- 1 tsp. salt and pepper for short ribs

Ingredients
- 4 lbs. Short Ribs
- 4 Carrots, Diced
- 4 Celery Stalks, Diced

- 1 Head of Garlic, Cut in Half
- 1/2 Bunch Thyme
- 1/2 Bunch Rosemary
- 1/2 Bunch Parsley
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 4 Tbsp. Flour
- 2 Tbsp. Contadina tomato paste
- 4 cups Beef Stock
- 1 tsp. Salt and Pepper
- 1 bottle of Stella Rosa® Blueberry
- 1 tsp. salt and pepper for short ribs
Instructions
Start by pat drying your short ribs. Season with salt and pepper. Add oil to a pot and sear all sides. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onion, carrots, celery, and seasoning until veggies are soft. Add flour and tomato paste and keep stirring.
Pour in 1 bottle of Stella Rosa® Blueberry, simmer wine, and add in short ribs and simmer again for 25 minutes on medium low. Add in beef broth, herbs, garlic, and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes and Stella Rosa® Blueberry wine.
