Get Your NYE Rockin’ With a Passionate Prosecco

We all know and love Jamie Oliver, and if we aren’t experts on his background, we at least know the name and have heard his incredible accent. This past week, he released a recipe for what he called the “Pimped-Out Prosecco.” And when Jamie Oliver says to make something, we don’t think twice!


This recipe is perfect for the holiday season and will be our go-to drink at all of our New Year’s Eve parties. The passion fruit and citrus flavors are just what we need to get the party started and to end the night.

Here are all the ingredients you need for what we have renamed “Passionate Prosecco” (per glass):

  • Prosecco, we chose our Stella Rosa Imperiale Prosecco, but Diama Sparkle Prosecco was a close second!
  • Juice of 1 clementine
  • Juice of ½ or 1 lime, your preference
  • Splash or squeeze of pomegranate juice
  • Flesh of ½ of a passion fruit
  • Juice of ¼ grapefruit
  • Splash of elderflower or blackcurrant cordial


Combine all of these ingredients in a champagne flute or glass of your choice, top off with Prosecco, and cheers! You have your Passionate Prosecco and are ready to take on the night and the New Year.


To get fancy and pimp out your prosecco even more, add fruit garnish, substitute some of the fruit juices for your favorite fruit, or change the Prosecco to a sparkling Rosé. We recommend setting this up as a Prosecco Bar so that your guests can substitute some of their favorite fruits, and add or subtract as they please!
