Back-to-Back Stella Black Cocktails

It’s almost Fall which means it’s time to start thinking about what you’ll be sipping into the spooky season!

Although it still feels like Summer here in California, can you believe that it’s already almost Fall and Stellaween® is just around the corner? That means it’s time to start thinking about what you’ll be sipping on into the spooky season! How about some brand new cocktails made with our newly titled, “fan-favorite flavor” Stella Rosa® Black? Read on to discover these delicious new back-to-back cocktail recipes!

1. MI OMBRÉ

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

Pour Stella Rosa® Black into 1 clean ice cube trays and pour Stella Rosa® Rosé wine into another ice cube tray.

Pour Stella Rosa® Moscato D’asti into 1 more ice cube trays.

Place all 3 trays in freezer and freeze several hours, or until frozen.

Spoon Stella Rosa® Black slush into the bottom third of serving glasses.

Spoon Rosé slush into the second third of the serving glasses.

Top with Moscato slush.

Garnish glasses with raspberries and mint, and enjoy!

2. CINNAMON TWIST

Stella Rosa Black Cocktails

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 5 1/2 cups Stella Rosa® Black
  • 4 ounces bourbon
  • Orange wedge and slices
  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix together sugar and cinnamon and spread on a small plate.

In a large pitcher, combine Stella Rosa® Black, orange beverage, and Bourbon.

Rub an orange wedge around rim of glass, then dip glass in cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.

Fill with ice, add cocktail mixture, and serve with orange slices.

3 Summer Cocktails To Beat The Heat

This summer has been a hot one! With record-breaking heat and longer days, the need to unwind and cool down is absolutely crucial this summer! So make sure to fit some relaxation time into your schedule this week and head to your local retailer for all the ingredients needed for one of the delicious cocktail recipes below.

Besides, what’s a better way to beat the heat and unwind than some ice-cold, refreshing cocktails made with your favorite Stella Rosa wine?

1. Stella Rita

Ingredients:

  • 1 Aluminum can of Stella Rosa Platinum
  • 1 can limeade concentrate
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • Sea salt and limes for garnish
  • 2 cups of Ice

Instructions:

Add ice and pour Stella Rosa Platinum into blender.

Pour tequila, limeade and orange juice into blender and blend until mixture is smooth.

Pour into glasses, add sea salt, lime slices and empty Stella Rosa Aluminum can for garnish, and enjoy!

2. Mi Ombré

Ingredients:

  • Stella Rosa Black
  • Stella Rosa Rosé
  • Stella Rosa Moscato D’asti
  • 3 Ice trays
  • Fresh raspberries and mint leaves for garnish.

Instructions:

Pour Stella Rosa Black into 1 clean ice cube trays and pour Stella Rosa Rosé wine into another ice cube tray.

Pour Stella Rosa Moscato D’asti into 1 more ice cube trays.

Place all 3 trays in freezer and freeze several hours, or until frozen.

Spoon Stella Rosa Black slush into the bottom third of serving glasses.

Spoon Rosé slush into the second third of the serving glasses.

Top with Moscato slush.

Garnish glasses with raspberries and mint, and enjoy!

3. Shake it Off

Ingredients:

  • Maraschino cherries
  • 2 1/2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 3 parts Stella Rosa Red

Instructions:

Place a few maraschino cherries in the bottom of the glass.

Scoop in vanilla ice cream and add a couple more cherries on top.

Top with Stella Rosa Red and enjoy!

Stella Rosa® Strawberry Moscato Cupcake Recipe

Stella Rosa Pink Moscato Cupcakes

This recipe is perfect for birthdays, girls nights or just to treat yourself after a long week. Seriously, what’s better than getting your buzz on while treating yourself to a heavenly strawberry moscato cupcake? These delightful cupcakes are vanilla with pink buttercream frosting spiked with Stella Rosa® Pink wine.

 Prep Time 20 minutes

 Cook Time 18 minutes

 Total Time 38 minutes

 Servings 18 cupcakes

Ingredients:

Cupcakes

  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Stella Rosa® Pink

Frosting

  • 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon Stella Rosa® Pink
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar

Instructions:

Cupcakes

Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in the vanilla extract just until combined.

In a medium sized bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup Stella Rosa® Pink and 1/2 cup sour cream (mixture will fizz a little).

With the mixer on low, gradually add in the flour mixture in three parts, alternating with moscato mixture. Mix until batter is uniform and smooth, about 30 seconds.

Fill prepared cupcake liners about 3/4 full and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven, transfer cupcakes to a cooling rack, and allow them to cool to room temperature before frosting.

Frosting

Place 1 cup of Stella Rosa® Pink in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium-high heat until reduced to 2 tablespoons. Transfer to a small bowl or condiment cup and allow to cool.

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, cream softened butter and powdered sugar together. Once the frosting is thick and fluffy, pour in the reduced 2 tablespoons moscato plus 1 tablespoon moscato from the bottle and mix well.

Frost the cupcakes and garnish with nonpareil sprinkles if desired.

Strawberry-Rhubarb Rosé Sangria Recipe

Kickstart your Summer with our delicious Strawberry-Rhubarb Rosé sangria cocktail. This treat is perfect for barbecues, picnics, pool parties and more. Did we mention that it also goes fantastically with Strawberry Rhubarb pie? See the recipe below and enjoy!

Sangria Cocktail

Ingredients:
  • 1 bottle of Stella Rosa Rosé
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • Rhubarb simple syrup- Store brand or homemade (recipe below)
Instructions:
  1. Mix all ingredients in a pitcher.
  2. Let sit in fridge for 4 hours.
  3. Serve with club soda and ice.

Rhubarb Simple Syrup

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups rhubarb 2 large stalks; diced into 1 inch cubes
Instructions:
  1. Mix sugar and water in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add rhubarb, mix and cover. Let simmer for 5 minutes and then remove from heat.
  4. Cool and strain off rhubarb before adding to cocktail.

There you have it! Another delicious cocktail that will satisfy all your summer-sippin’ needs!

DIY Crafts With Stella Rosa Corks

Next time someone says decorating your home is expensive, kindly respond to put a cork in it because these Stella Rosa cork crafts are cute, simple and cost effective!

All you need to do is start saving those corks and you’ll be on your way to having adorable and basically costless home decor in no time! Here are a couple ideas to think about:

Corky Wall DecorDIY home decor

You’ll need:
1. One wooden frame
2. 30-50 Stella Rosa corks, depending on how large the wooden frame is
3. Acrylic paint
4. Paint brushes
5. Hot glue gun
6. Felt tip precision pens for fine details

Directions:
1. Collect your Stella Rosa corks until you have enough to fill wooden frame.
2. Paint the wooden frame with acrylic paint (or another wood-friendly paint). Let dry for 1 hour.
3. Use a hot glue gun to glue corks onto the wooden frame. Place them neatly and glue until you’ve filled the frame. Let them dry for 20 minutes.
4. Use thin paintbrush to outline and thicker paint brush to fill/ blend colors and let dry for 2 hours (acrylic paint works here to).
5. Now use thin pen for fine details and hang on wall!

S’more Marshmallow Pops

Here’s your super easy Marshmallow Pops recipe, great for any upcoming party or summer gathering! These pops are simple, decadent and practically effortless. This is an endless fun foodie dessert your friends will love. Roll them in sprinkles, coconut, crushed nuts, graham cracker crumbs, finely chopped candy bars, or anything you’re craving. Pair these delicious treats with a chilled glass of Stella Rosa wine and have a Stellabration. All you need is…

Ingredients
One bag of Marshmallows
Chocolate
Your choice of topping (sprinkles, coconut, crushed nuts, graham cracker crumbs, etc.)
Lollipop sticks
Small cellophane bags (if you want to wrap them up)

~ Directions ~

1. Push a lollipop stick into each marshmallow.
2. Melt some chocolate. You will probably need 4-8 oz. of chocolate, depending on how many marshmallows you dip.
3. Dip one marshmallow at a time into the chocolate.
4. Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then sprinkle your choice of topping onto the chocolate.
5. Set the marshmallow pop (stick down) in a mug to allow the chocolate to set (you can put the mug of pops in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes).

Popcorn Confetti Bundt Cake

Indulge yourself! This easy-to-make and extravagantly delicious dessert will not only make your stresses go away but will impress the lucky people you share it with. This is our take on the Popcorn Confetti Bundt Cake, featured on Food Network’s The Kitchen, and we’re enjoying it with our favorite wine, Stella Rosa® Rosso.

Ingredients:

Non-stick cooking spray

5 cups plain popcorn

5 cups caramel popcorn

1 cup macadamia nuts

9 cups marshmallows

5 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 teaspoons sprinkles

Instructions:

1. Spray Bundt pan with non-stick spray.
2. Chop macadamia nuts.
3. Combine plain popcorn, caramel popcorn, and macadamia nuts in a large bowl.
4. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
5. Add marshmallows and stir until they are melted.
6. Pour the popcorn mixture into the melted marshmallows and stir until all the popcorn is coated.
7. Transfer to the Bundt pan and let sit for 1 hour to set
8. Turn the pan upside-down onto a serving platter to release the cake.
9. Sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles.

Garnish with a lemon wedge.

When you were a kid, hot cocoa made everything better, well the rule still applies as an adult and we’re stepping it up with Stella Rosa!  Stella Rosa Hot Cocoa cocktail is sure to keep you warm and feeling good throughout the chilly winter nights ahead.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup Stella Rosa Red

1 cup milk

2/3 cup water

6 oz. bittersweet chocolate

1 pinch kosher salt

Mint leaves

Small candy canes

Instructions:

Bring chocolate and wine to a simmer.

Whisk until all chocolate is melted.

Add water, milk, and salt.

Bring to a boil and continue whisking (3 minutes).

Serve with mint or candy canes, if desired.

You’ll need:

Grab a pitcher and combine all the ingredients. Let the flavors mix for a few hours in the fridge. When ready to serve, pour the drink over ice and garnish with an apple slice or an orange slice.

Take A Sip Down Candy Cane Lane

There is always a sense of magic in the air during the holiday season, and our Candy Cane Lane cocktail brings you that holiday magic that you can literally taste! This specialty cocktail of ours is the perfect drink to have at any and all of your holiday parties. There is just a tiny bit of work and waiting involved to get these made, but trust us, it’s well-worth it!

Ingredients
• 4 parts Stella Rosa Imperiale Prosecco
• 1 part peppermint vodka
• Chocolate chips
• Candy canes

Instructions
1. Crush the candy canes into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
2. Melt the chocolate over the stove or in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring repeatedly.
3. Dip the rims of your serving glasses into the melted chocolate, and then roll them in the candy cane bits.
4. Place the glasses in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.
5. When ready to serve, fill the glasses first with the peppermint vodka then with the Stella Rosa Imperiale Prosecco.
